But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:21-23)
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being a merciful and loving God. I praise you because I can trust you.
In this life, I will face trials and temptations. Help me to remember that you are with me. When I face difficult seasons, remind me that they are temporary, but you and your love are eternal. There have been times when I have forgotten that you have been faithful and allowed anxiety to overtake me. Keep me from being overcome with worry. Pour your peace into my heart and mind. Settle my soul.
Lord, help me to forgive those who have hurt me. Please help me to be patient with others despite my circumstance. Teach me to love my enemies the way you love me and to always put my hope in you.
