And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. (1 Peter 5:10)
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for walking with me through every trial. Thank you for your grace and mercy that strengthens me and draws me close to you when I am weak. Thank you for the love that called me to you and continues to call me daily.
Please teach me how to worship you in spirit and truth. Lord, I want to experience the joy that can only come from knowing, loving, and being loved by you. Please help me to find my joy in you. Please teach me how to rejoice regardless of my circumstance. Reveal to me if I have tried to replace you with people, places, and things, and if so, please forgive me. Please help me to remember that struggles only last a little while and teach me to cling to you when I am weary.
May the testimony of my struggle and victory be a blessing to others.
