And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your eternal love and for keeping me safe in your arms. Thank you for your sacrifice, which paved the way for me to be called yours. Thank you for your forgiveness and for preparing a place for me with you now and for eternity. Thank you for your Holy Spirit and Son that intercede for me.
I trust that you are working all things for my good. You have promised that I will be victorious no matter the struggle or battle because of your love, and you are faithful to your promises. Thank you, Lord.
Forgive me for my sins, and give me a heart that consistently and intentionally pursues you and your will. Please teach me what it means to rest in your love. Thank you for your Spirit that lives within me. Lead me as I put my sinful nature to death, and please help me to walk in step with your Spirit.
Remind me that I am never alone and always loved when I am hurting, lonely or afraid, and help me to love others enough to remind them.
